The Australian Punjabi Academy operates as a Not-for-Profit organisation dedicated to promoting and preserving Punjabi language and culture in Australia. All funds generated through enrolment fees and donations will be reinvested into improving our educational programs and developing teaching resources that benefit the Punjabi community and foster intercultural understanding.
2026 Class Programs
We offer comprehensive Punjabi language programs designed for different age groups and proficiency levels.
Beginner Program
Age Group: 5-8 years
Focus: Basic Punjabi alphabet, simple words, greetings, and cultural introduction
Duration: 2-hour weekly sessions

Intermediate Program
Age Group: 9-12 years

Age Group: 13+ years

Age Group: 18+ years

2026 Class Schedule
Classes Schedule: We are pleased to offer Punjabi language classes ONLINE on both Saturdays and Sundays. However, please note that in the event of insufficient student enrolment for a particular class, we may need to adjust the schedule. We will make every effort to accommodate all students and communicate any changes to affected families as soon as possible.
Our goal is to provide high-quality Punjabi language education while ensuring efficient use of resources. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to create the best learning environment for all students.

NESA Aligned: These weekly classes provide students with regular opportunities to engage with the Punjabi language and culture, following the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Punjabi K-10 Syllabus. The structured timing allows for consistent learning experiences throughout the school year, supporting students in developing their Punjabi language skills and cultural understanding.
Class Format
Live Online Classes
All classes are conducted live via Zoom video conferencing, allowing for real-time interaction with instructors and peers. Classes are limited to small groups to ensure personalized attention.
Virtual Classroom
Our virtual classroom platform provides an engaging learning environment with interactive whiteboards and screen sharing capabilities.
Learning Materials
Students receive digital learning materials, including textbooks, worksheets, audio recordings, and access to our online learning portal with supplementary resources.
Homework & Practice
Regular assignments and practice exercises help reinforce learning between classes. Instructors provide feedback and support throughout the learning journey.
